Amicus, Britain's biggest private sector union is warning that a new wave of offshore outsourcing is about to take place in the finance sector, despite a growing crisis in the Indian labour market and continued inactivity in developing the UK's knowledge economy.
UK firms using Indian IT and back-office facilities are being urged to upgrade their security in the wake of a suspected terrorist attack on Bangalore, the country’s technology hub and a popular offshore destination for Western firms, writes IT Week.
